Getting There

Walking

From the Table Rock Welcome Centre, the entrance to Journey Behind the Falls is easily accessible. Follow the signs within the centre to the elevators that descend to the tunnels. No additional costs are involved beyond the attraction admission.
Public Transport

The Niagara Parks WEGO bus system provides convenient access to Table Rock Centre, where Journey Behind the Falls is located. Several WEGO lines converge at Table Rock, making it a central transportation hub. A 24-hour WEGO pass costs $13 for adults and $9 for children (ages 3-12). From the WEGO stop, follow the signs to the Table Rock Welcome Centre and the Journey Behind the Falls entrance.
Parking

Paid parking is available at the Falls Parking Lot across the street from Table Rock Welcome Centre and at the Clifton Hill parking lot nearby. The Niagara Parks Power Station – Falls Lot A and Floral Showhouse Lot B charge $36 for all-day parking. Hourly parking is available at the Rainbow Bridge & Niagara Garden Place for $12 per hour. During peak season, the main lots may fill up, requiring parking at satellite lots with shuttle service to the visitor center. A Niagara Parks parking pass costs $35.

Descend 125 feet via elevator into the Niagara Gorge, where a network of tunnels leads to viewing portals carved directly into the bedrock behind the cascading waters.Originally known as the "Scenic Tunnels," the attraction dates back to 1832, with expansions and renovations occurring over the years. The tunnels themselves were initially built in 1892. Today, visitors can explore these historic passageways and access two outdoor observation decks at the foot of the falls. During the summer, expect to receive a souvenir biodegradable poncho to protect yourself from the mist.From the observation decks, witness the spectacle of one-fifth of the world's fresh water thundering down into the basin below. During peak summer daylight hours, over 2,800 cubic meters of water crashes over the brink every second, traveling at 65 kilometers per hour. The sheer force and volume of water create an awe-inspiring experience, engaging all the senses.The attraction also showcases the history of the Falls, from its geological formation to its rise as a global tourism destination. Exhibits within the visitor queuing areas highlight the area's Indigenous history, including a reproduction of Oren Lyons' painting, "Maid of the Mist and the Thunder Beings".
