Train
From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Metro-North Station located at 2 Railroad Avenue. Take the New Haven Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at Harlem-125th Street Station. Once you exit the station, walk west for about 5 minutes until you reach 253 W 125th St, where the Apollo Theater is located.
Bus
You can take the CT Transit bus route 10 from Greenwich to Stamford. From Stamford, transfer to the Metro-North Train at Stamford Station towards Grand Central. After about 45 minutes on the train, disembark at Harlem-125th Street Station. Walk west for about 5 minutes to reach the Apollo Theater at 253 W 125th St.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Greenwich. Start at the Greenwich Town Hall and head north on Greenwich Avenue. Follow the Avenue until you hit the Mianus River Greenway, which will take you towards the New York border. Continue cycling through the scenic routes, and use bike paths to navigate into the Bronx and eventually into Manhattan. It will take about 2-3 hours, so be prepared for a longer journey. Once in Manhattan, use a map app to find your way to 253 W 125th St.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route through Greenwich. Start at the Greenwich Town Hall and walk towards the waterfront on Steamboat Road. Follow the shoreline until you reach the nearest train station, then take a train to Harlem-125th Street Station. After exiting the station, it's a 5-minute walk to the Apollo Theater at 253 W 125th St. Note that walking all the way from Greenwich to New York City is not practical, but this route allows you to enjoy some beautiful sights.
