The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, exit the station and follow the signs to the subway.

At Grand Central Terminal, take the 4, 5, 6, 7, or S subway line downtown. You will want to transfer to the 4 or 5 train at the 42nd Street-Bryant Park station. Ride for three stops and get off at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station.

After exiting the subway at Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, follow the signs to the Brooklyn Bridge. Once you're on the bridge, walk straight ahead for about 1.3 miles until you reach the Manhattan Bridge. The views are stunning, so take your time along the walk.

Alternatively, from Grand Central Terminal, you can take the M15 bus towards South Ferry. Get off at the intersection of Delancey St and Essex St. Walk east on Delancey St, then turn left on Bowery and walk north until you reach the Manhattan Bridge entrance.
