    From the Greenwich train station, head north on Railroad Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with West Putnam Avenue (Route 1). Turn left onto West Putnam Avenue and continue for approximately 0.5 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. Look for the bus stop and take the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street station in Harlem. Transfer to the A or C subway line towards Manhattan. Ride until you reach the 14th Street station. From there, transfer to the L train towards 8th Avenue and get off at the 8th Avenue station. Walk south on 8th Avenue, then turn right onto West 10th Street. The Church of the Ascension will be on your left at the intersection of 5th Avenue.
