    Subway

    After exiting Grand Central, walk to the nearby 42nd Street-Bryant Park subway station (B, D, F, M lines). Take the B or D train downtown towards Brooklyn. Get off at 34th Street-Herald Square and transfer to the R or W train. Take the R or W train to 8th Street-NYU station.

    Walking

    From the 8th Street-NYU subway station, exit onto 8th Street and walk west towards 6th Avenue. Turn left onto 6th Avenue and continue walking south. Jefferson Market Library will be on your left at 425 6th Ave, just past the intersection with W 10th Street.
