Getting There

  • Train

    From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Train Station. Take the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Station, follow the signs to the 42nd Street Shuttle (S train) and board the shuttle towards Times Square. Get off at Times Square and transfer to the 1 train towards South Ferry. Ride for 9 stops and get off at the Chambers St station. Exit the station and walk east along Chambers St for 2 blocks until you reach Broadway, then turn left; City Hall Park will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From Greenwich, take the CT Transit bus route 10 towards Stamford. Ride the bus until you reach the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, transfer to a Greyhound or Peter Pan bus heading towards New York City. Once you arrive in NYC, you can take the subway by boarding the 2 or 4 train at the nearest station to your bus drop-off location. Get off at the Chambers St station, and exit to walk east along Chambers St for 2 blocks until you reach Broadway, then turn left; City Hall Park will be on your right.

    Although there is no direct ferry from Greenwich to Manhattan, you can take a ferry from nearby Norwalk. Take a local bus or taxi to Norwalk and board the Norwalk Ferry to New York City.
