Public Bus
From Greenwich, head to the nearest bus stop on Greenwich Avenue. Take the NJ Transit Bus 156 or 159 towards the George Washington Bridge. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time at njtransit.com. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at the stop for Palisades Interstate Park. You will see signs directing you to the park entrance.
Train and Bus Combination
Start at the Greenwich Metro-North train station. Take the Metro-North New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the Tarrytown station. From Tarrytown, exit the station and walk to the nearby Tarrytown Bus Terminal. There, catch the NJ Transit Bus 7 which will take you towards Alpine. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Palisades Interstate Park stop.
Walking and Bus
If you are near the Old Greenwich area, you can walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Shore Road and Sound Beach Avenue. Take the NJ Transit Bus 159 towards the George Washington Bridge. After about 25 minutes, you will arrive at Palisades Interstate Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance.
