SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is an immersive observatory and art experience atop the One Vanderbilt skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, offering stunning 360-degree views of New York City. Public Transport
Arriving via subway, take the 4, 5, 6, 7, or S lines to Grand Central-42nd Street Station. From the station, follow signs to the Grand Central Terminal's Main Concourse and the Vanderbilt Passage, where you'll find the SUMMIT entrance. Alternatively, you can access SUMMIT through the 42nd Street subway entrance next to TD Bank. A single subway ride costs $2.75.
Walking
If you are near Grand Central Terminal, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is a short walk away. Head west within the terminal to reach the Vanderbilt Passage, where the entrance is located. From Bryant Park, walk east along 42nd Street for about 5 minutes. Look for signs indicating the Observation Deck entrance. There are no costs associated with walking.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft can drop you off near One Vanderbilt. Specify 45 E 42nd Street as your destination. From Times Square, a taxi ride will cost approximately $10-$15 and take about 10 minutes. Note that there is no on-site parking, but several parking garages are available nearby. SP+ Parking at 52 E 41st St charges $20-$40 per hour. Icon Parking at 110 E 42nd St charges $18-$55 per hour.
Bus
Several MTA bus routes, including the M1, M2, M3, M4, M42, M101, M102, and M103, stop near Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the stops on Madison Avenue & 42nd Street or Lexington Avenue & 42nd Street. From there, it's a 2-5 minute walk to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. A single bus fare is $2.75.
