    Train

    From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Metro-North Train Station located at 2 Railroad Avenue. Purchase a ticket for the New Haven Line toward Grand Central Terminal. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 50 minutes, disembark at the 42nd Street – Grand Central Station. From Grand Central, transfer to the 4, 5, 6, or S subway lines heading downtown to Union Square. Finally, get off at Union Square Station and use the southeast exit to reach Union Square Greenmarket on Union Square W & E 17th St.

    Bus

    From the Greenwich Town Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 101 Field Point Road. Take the CT Transit bus route 9 toward Stamford. After about 25 minutes, get off at the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, transfer to a Metro-North train heading to New York City. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, switch to the 4, 5, 6, or S subway lines and head to Union Square. Exit at Union Square Station and follow the signs to Union Square Greenmarket on Union Square W & E 17th St.
