From Stamford, head to the Stamford Train Station located at 1 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT 06902. You can take a Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Grand Central, follow the signs to the S subway line (Shuttle) and take it to Times Square-42nd Street. Transfer to the 7 subway line and head towards Flushing-Main Street. Get off at the 34th Street-Hudson Yards station. From there, take the M34A-SBS bus, which will take you towards the East Side. Get off at the 1st Avenue and 40th Street stop. Walk east towards the East River to reach Wards Island Park.
