If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Cahuita National Park. Head southeast on Avenida 1 towards the main road. After approximately 3.5 km, turn right onto the road leading to Punta Riel. Continue for about 1 km, and you will see the sign for Cacao Trails - Museo de Cacao on the left. There is parking available at the location.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Cahuita towards Puerto Viejo. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the fare is typically around $1.50. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Punta Riel. Once you get off, walk approximately 500 meters in the direction of the Museo de Cacao, following the signs. The museum should be located on your left.

If you are already in the vicinity of Punta Riel, you can walk to Cacao Trails - Museo de Cacao. From the nearest bus stop in Punta Riel, head northwest along the main road for about 500 meters. Look for signs directing you to the museum on your left. The walk should take around 10 minutes.
