From Cahuita National Park, head northwest on Route 36 (Costanera Sur) towards Limón. Continue on Route 36 for about 40 km until you reach the junction for Route 2 (Interamericana Sur). Take the exit onto Route 2, heading towards San José. Continue on this road for approximately 70 km until you reach the town of Santa María. Look for signs indicating Parque Nacional Los Quetzales. The park entrance is located about 2 km from the town center.
