Driving
From San José, take the Pan-American Highway (Route 2) south towards Cartago. Continue on Route 2, passing through Cerro de la Muerte. Approximately 46 kilometers from San Isidro (9 kilometers after the summit), turn left at Kilometer 80 onto the road to San Gerardo de Dota. Follow this road for 4 kilometers downhill; the lodge will be on your right. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended, especially during the rainy season. Parking is available at the lodge free of charge.

Public Transport
From San José, take a bus from the Musoc Terminal to San Isidro de El General. Buses leave approximately every hour. Ask the driver to drop you off at Kilometer 80, the entrance to San Gerardo de Dota. From there, you can either walk 4 kilometers downhill to the lodge or call Dantica for a pickup. A pickup from the entrance to the lodge costs $15 USD.
