Bus fare from San Isidro to San Jerónimo is minimal.

    From Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, hire a taxi to San Jerónimo de Pérez Zeledón. The cost can range from 30,000 to 50,000 colones. From San Jerónimo, arrange local transport to the Cerro Ena trailhead. Negotiate the fare, which should be around 10,000 to 15,000 colones. Taxis in Puerto Viejo have a starting price of approximately 700 CRC, with an additional 700 CRC per kilometer.

    From San José, take the Interamericana Sur (Route #2) towards Pérez Zeledón. After crossing the El General River, continue for approximately 45 minutes to reach San Jerónimo. In San Jerónimo, park near the ATURENA office and arrange local transport to the trailhead. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
