If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Rivas, located in the San José Province. From Rivas, follow the signs to Chirripó National Park. Once you reach the entrance of the park, continue driving until you get to the area near the Escuela de Chimiról. Chirripo Oasis is located approximately 2.2 km northeast of the school. You can park your car at designated areas near the park entrance, and from there, you can either hike or arrange for a local guide to take you to Chirripo Oasis.

To get to Chirripo National Park using public transportation, take a bus to Rivas from San José. Buses frequently depart from the Terminal 7-10 in San José. Upon arrival in Rivas, you can either hire a local taxi or take another bus to the Escuela de Chimiról. Once you arrive at the school, Chirripo Oasis is located 2.2 km to the northeast. You can hike this distance or arrange for a local guide or transportation from the school to make the journey easier.
