    If you're driving, start by heading towards Pérez Zeledón. From San José, take Route 2 (Interamericana) towards Pérez Zeledón, which is about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive. Once you reach Pérez Zeledón, look for signs directing you to San Isidro de El General. Continue on the main road until you see signs for Chirripó National Park. You will need to take a detour and follow the signs to the park entrance, located at GG74+95C. The entrance is approximately 30 minutes from Pérez Zeledón. Be aware that parking fees may apply, so have some Costa Rican colones ready for payment.

    For travelers using public transportation, you can take a bus from San José to Pérez Zeledón. Buses leave regularly from the Terminal de Buses de San Carlos.
