Driving
From San José, take the South Pan-American Highway (Route 2). Drive past Casa Mata and Providencia until you reach KM 80. Turn right at KM 80 (look for the bus stop and Bar "Los Jilgueros"). Follow the gravel road for 7 km, descending 1,000 meters, and turn left at Trogon Lodge's sign. Note that a 4x4 vehicle is recommended due to the steep and unpaved road. There are no tolls on this route. Parking is available at the lodge.

From San José, take a bus from Terminal Musoc to Los Santos. Buses typically leave between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM. From Los Santos, take a taxi to Trogon Lodge. The bus fare is approximately 4,300 CRC ($7 USD) per person. Coordinate with Trogon Lodge to arrange a taxi from the bus stop for around $20 USD.
