The walk is approximately 5km and will take about 1 hour. Follow the road, keeping an eye out for signs to Catarata Los Murciélagos. The entrance is clearly marked from the road. There are some steep hills.

Upon arrival at Catarata Los Murciélagos, visitors are greeted by the sight of the falls as they cascade over rocks into a peaceful pool. The waterfall provides a cool, misty atmosphere, a welcome contrast to the sometimes humid climate of Monteverde. Open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, Catarata Los Murciélagos provides an accessible way to experience the beauty of Monteverde's natural landscape.
