From anywhere in Delaware Piedmont, get onto Route 1 South towards Lewes. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 15 miles. Take the exit for Route 9 East towards Lewes. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Shipcarpenter Street. The Lewes Historical Society Main Campus will be on your left at 110 Shipcarpenter Street. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some lots may charge a fee.

If you are using public transportation, you can take the DART First State bus Route 204 from various points in Delaware Piedmont to the Lewes area. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Route 1 and Route 9. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to The Lewes Historical Society Main Campus. Head east on Route 9, then turn left onto Shipcarpenter Street. The campus will be on your left at 110 Shipcarpenter Street. The bus fare is approximately $2.00.
