    If you are driving from the Dover area, start by getting onto DE-1 S from Dover. Follow DE-1 S for approximately 24 miles. Take the exit toward DE-26 E, then turn right onto DE-26 E. After about 3 miles, turn left onto Cape Henlopen Drive. Continue straight until you reach Cape Henlopen State Park, where Fort Miles Historical Area is located. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle.
