Selsø Castle (Selsø Slot) is a beautifully restored Renaissance–Baroque manor house set by a quiet lake near Skibby in northwestern Zealand. First mentioned in 1288 and rebuilt in 1576, the castle later fell into a 150‑year “Sleeping Beauty” slumber before careful restoration reopened it as an atmospheric museum.
