If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Santiago de los Caballeros. Head east on Avenida 27 de Febrero, then take the exit onto Autopista Duarte towards Santo Domingo. Follow this highway for about 30 kilometers. Take the exit toward La Vega and continue on this road until you reach the town of La Vega. Once you are in La Vega, follow the signs to the town of Constanza. After passing through Constanza, continue on the road until you reach the Unnamed Road where Playa El Viejo Óscar is located. There is no official parking, so be sure to park your car safely off the road.

To reach Playa El Viejo Óscar by public transportation, first make your way to the main bus terminal in Santiago de los Caballeros. From there, take a bus heading to La Vega. Once in La Vega, you will need to transfer to a local 'carro público' (shared taxi) that goes towards Constanza. Inform the driver that you want to get off near Playa El Viejo Óscar. Depending on the time of day, the entire trip may take around 2 to 3 hours. Be prepared to pay approximately 150-200 DOP for the bus ride to La Vega and around 100 DOP for the carro público.
