The administration area is located approximately 15 km from the main park entrance. Look for signs directing you to 'Administración Parque Nacional Cotopaxi'. You will reach a parking area near the administration building where you can leave your car.

Public Transportation
To reach the Cotopaxi Administration National Park via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Latacunga to the Cotopaxi National Park. Buses leave from the main terminal in Latacunga. The fare is usually around $1.50. Once you reach the park entrance, you can take a shared taxi or walk approximately 4 km to reach the administration area. The shared taxi fare is typically around $2 per person. Make sure to check the bus schedules for the return trip.

If you're already inside Cotopaxi National Park and prefer to walk, head towards the administration area by taking marked trails. It’s about a 4 km walk from the main entrance. Follow the main path that leads towards the Cotopaxi volcano, and you will find signs directing you to the administration building.
