Start at the central square in Mekele, known as 'Mekele Meskel Square'. From there, head east along the main road (Hawelti Road). Continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Wukro. Look for the signposts indicating the direction to Wukro. Once you reach the intersection, take a left turn onto the road towards Wukro. Continue on this route for approximately 8 kilometers. You will pass through several small villages along the way, which may offer opportunities to stop for refreshments or take photos. After about 8 kilometers, you will arrive at the town of Wukro. As you enter Wukro, look for signs directing you to ቤተክርስትያን ጨርቆስ ዉቅሮ/ Wukro Cherkos church. The church is located at RJ23+QRG, positioned slightly off the main road. Follow the signs, and you should arrive at the church.
