Getting There

    From Húsavík, head west on Route 10 towards the town of Norðragøta. Follow Route 10 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 11. Turn left onto Route 11 and continue for about 10 kilometers. Then, take the exit towards Gjógv. Follow the signs to Gjógv, which is about 5 kilometers away. The road will lead you directly to the natural harbour, and you'll find parking available nearby.

    Start at Húsavík by taking the bus towards Klaksvik. You may need to check the local bus schedule as services may not be frequent.
