Cross the bridge to Eysturoy Island and continue towards Eiði, then turn right onto Route 62 towards Funningur and Gjógv. Follow the road into the village. The drive is approximately one hour from Tórshavn. Parking is available near the harbor. Be aware that the roads are narrow, especially as you approach Gjógv.

    To get to Gjógv via public transport from Tórshavn, take bus 400 to Oyrarbakki. From Oyrarbakki, transfer to bus 201, which will take you directly to Gjógv. Bus 201 has limited service, so check the schedule in advance. A multi-day travel card costs DKK 500 for four days. A single bus ticket from Tórshavn to Gjógv is estimated to be 60-90 DKK.
