  • Ferry and Bus

    To reach the Seal Woman statue using public transport, start by taking bus 400 from Tórshavn to Klaksvík. From the Klaksvík harbour, take ferry route 56 to Syðradalur on Kalsoy Island. Upon arrival in Syðradalur, transfer to bus 506, which travels north to Mikladalur. The bus will drop you off in Mikladalur, from where it is a short walk along Bakkavegur to the statue. A multi-day travel card (DKK 500) can be purchased for unlimited bus and ferry travel (excluding Mykines). Single bus fares are typically around DKK 30.

  • Driving

    If driving from Tórshavn, head north to Klaksvík. From Klaksvík, take ferry route 56 to Syðradalur on Kalsoy Island. Once on Kalsoy, follow the road through three tunnels to Mikladalur. In Mikladalur, turn onto Bakkavegur. Parking is available near the gospel hall Malta (Fornagøta 11) or in larger parking lots in the village. Ferry fares for a car and driver are approximately DKK 175, with additional passenger fares around DKK 40.
