Starting from the center of Runavík, head south on the main road, Áarvegur, towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection at the end of the road. At this point, turn left onto Bakkavegur. Follow Bakkavegur for about 12 kilometers (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of walking) along the scenic coastline.
