Getting There

Walking
Start at the Avignon Central Train Station (Gare d'Avignon Centre). Exit the station and head towards Rue de la République, the main shopping street. Walk straight until you reach Place de l'Horloge, a large square with cafes and the City Hall. Continue past the square, following the road as it curves left to Rue des Lices. Follow this road until you reach the Pont Saint-Bénézet (the famous Avignon Bridge). Cross the bridge and enjoy the view of the Rhône River. Once across, head towards the roundabout and take the second exit onto Route de l'Ile de Barthelasse. Continue walking along this road until you see signs for La Maison du Parc. It will be on your right, situated on the Ile de Barthelasse.
