From Chamonix, take the Mont Blanc Express train towards Martigny (Switzerland) and disembark at Argentière. From the Argentière train station or the 'Argentière La Fis' bus stop, you can take bus line 21 towards Col des Montets. The bus ride is approximately 12 minutes. From Col des Montets, the Circuit le Point de Vue du Col d'Argentière is easily accessible. Bus line 21 operates six times daily between Les Chosalets and Col des Montets. A single train ticket from Chamonix to Argentière costs approximately €1-€3. A bus ticket on the Chamonix bus network is free if you have a valid lift pass or a guest card (carte d'hôte). Otherwise, a single bus ticket costs around €2-€4.
Driving

From Chamonix, drive towards Argentière via the D1506 road. Continue past Argentière towards the Col des Montets. Parking is available at the Col des Montets, between Argentière and Vallorcine. From the parking area, the Circuit le Point de Vue du Col d'Argentière is easily accessible. Parking is free. Be aware that parking spaces can fill up quickly during peak season. During the Christmas and February school holidays, free temporary outdoor parking is located at a place called Les Iles - between Le paravalanche du Lavancher and Argentière. During the Christmas and February school holidays it is connected to Grands Montets and Le Tour by a free shuttle which runs continuously every 45 minutes from 09:15 until 17:30.
