Ancien Presbytère: A Sacred Haven in Lourdes

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, head southeast on Rue de la Grotte towards the entrance of the sanctuary. Walk along the street until you reach the intersection with Rue des Pyrénées. Turn left onto Rue des Pyrénées and continue straight. After about 300 meters, you will come to a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenue de la Grotte. Continue walking for about 600 meters, and you will see a sign for Impasse de Boly on your right. Turn onto Impasse de Boly, and Ancien Presbytère will be located at number 5, just a short walk down the street.

• Public Transport

  From the Lourdes train station, exit onto Avenue de la Gare. Take bus line 1 towards the Sanctuaries (Sanctuaire). After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Sanctuaire'. From the bus stop, walk southeast on Rue de la Grotte towards Rue des Pyrénées. Once you reach Rue des Pyrénées, turn left and continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenue de la Grotte, and after about 600 meters, turn right onto Impasse de Boly. Ancien Presbytère is at number 5.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Lourdes. Simply ask the driver to take you to 5 Impasse de Boly, Lourdes. The journey should take about 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
