Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the main dock area in Maupiti, head south along the main pathway leading away from the dock. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with the main road. At the intersection, take a right turn onto the road heading towards Tereia. Follow this road for approximately 1 km. Keep an eye out for the signage that indicates the direction to Pension Tereia. The pension is located on your left side, just after the local store. Look for the sign with 'Pension Tereia' as you approach the entrance.

• Bicycle

  You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the dock. Once you have your bike, head south along the main pathway away from the dock. After about 1.5 km, turn right at the intersection onto the main road towards Tereia. Continue cycling for approximately 1 km. As you ride, keep an eye out for the Pension Tereia sign on your left, right after the local store. The location is very easy to spot, and there is usually ample space to park your bike outside.

• Boat

  For a scenic route, consider taking a small boat taxi from the main dock to the nearby beaches. Depending on the water taxi service, you may be dropped off at a beach close to Tereia. From the beach landing, walk towards the main road heading north. After a few minutes, you will reach the intersection with the main road. Take a right turn and continue walking for about 1 km. Look for the Pension Tereia signage on your left side after passing the local store.
