From anywhere in Bavaria, you can drive to Munich. Use the A9 or A93 highways, depending on your starting location. Once you reach Munich, follow signs to the city center. Use the signs for 'Zentrum' and take the exit for Widenmayerstraße. Continue on Widenmayerstraße, then turn left onto Alfons-Goppel-Straße. The Kabinettsgarten will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of potential fees, which can vary between €1 to €3 per hour.

If you are traveling by public transport, take a train to Munich Hauptbahnhof (Munich Central Station). From there, you can catch the U-Bahn (subway). Take U5 towards Neuperlach Süd or U2 towards Messestadt Ost and change at Sendlinger Tor to U6 towards Klinikum Großhadern. Get off at Odeonsplatz station. From Odeonsplatz, it is a short walk: exit the station and head east on Ludwigstraße, then turn right onto Alfons-Goppel-Straße. The Kabinettsgarten will be on your left. A single ticket on the U-Bahn costs around €2.90.
