If you're starting from the Freiburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head east on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Kaiserstraße. Turn right onto Kaiserstraße and walk for another 400 meters. You will see the entrance to the pedestrian zone. Continue straight into the pedestrian area until you reach the Rathausplatz, which will be on your right.

If you're near a tram stop, take tram line 1, 3, or 5 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Rathaus' stop, which is just a short walk from Rathausplatz. When you exit the tram, follow the signs towards the Rathausplatz; it will be directly in front of you as you walk out of the tram station.

If you are renting a bicycle, make your way towards the city center by following the bike paths. From the main train station, bike along Wilhelmstraße, then take a left onto Schusterstraße. Continue until you reach Münsterplatz, then turn right onto Rathausstraße. Follow the signs to Rathausplatz, where you can park your bike at designated bike racks nearby.
