Walking
If you are starting from Freiburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head west on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bismarckallee. Turn right onto Bismarckallee and walk until you reach the next intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Here, turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße, which is the main shopping street. Keep walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach the large square, Augustinerplatz. From Augustinerplatz, take the exit towards Turmstraße. Walk down Turmstraße for about 5 minutes, and you will find Gerichtslaube at Turmstraße 20 on your left.

From Freiburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Littenweiler' or 'Vauban'. Ride for 4 stops and get off at 'Kaiser-Joseph-Straße'.
