Walking
If you are starting from Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Zentrum' and walk straight along Bismarckallee. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße, a pedestrian street filled with shops and cafes. Continue straight until you see the Martinstor (the old city gate) on your right, which is a good landmark. From the Martinstor, turn left onto Rathausgasse. St. Martinskirche will be just a short walk ahead on your right at Rathausgasse 3.
