Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Lübeck's main train station (Lübeck Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight along 'Grosse Burgstraße' for about 1 kilometer until you reach the 'St. Petri Kirche' (St. Peter's Church) on your left. Continue straight, and you will enter the beautiful historic area of Lübeck. As you reach 'Breite Straße', turn right and continue until you see 'Marienkirche' (St. Mary's Church) ahead. The church is located in 'Marienkirchhof 1', right in front of you.

    If you are at the historic 'Holstentor' (Holsten Gate), head east along 'Holstentorplatz' and follow the path that leads into the old town. Continue along 'Königstraße' for about 500 meters, then turn left onto 'Breite Straße'. Walk straight until you reach 'Marienkirche', which will be on your left at 'Marienkirchhof 1'.
