Once in Litochoro, follow the signs to the Prionia trailhead (approximately 18 km from Litochoro). There is a parking area at Prionia where you can leave your car (parking fee may apply). From Prionia, follow the marked trail towards the summit of Mount Olympus, which will take around 5-7 hours depending on your fitness level.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Thessaloniki to Litochoro. Buses run frequently from the KTEL bus station in Thessaloniki to Litochoro, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Litochoro, you can either take a taxi to Prionia (about 18 km away) or hike the scenic route. Taxis are available at the bus station, and fares will vary, but expect to pay around €20-€30 for the trip. From Prionia, follow the marked trail towards the summit of Mount Olympus, which will take approximately 5-7 hours based on your pace.
