Walking
From the center of Pyrgos, start at the main square. Head northwest on Epar.Od. Pirgou - Akrotiriou towards the main road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the main road (Epar.Od. Fira - Akrotiri). At this junction, turn left and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. As you approach the area of Megalochori, look for the signs pointing towards Windmill Megalochori. The windmill is situated on an unnamed road in Thira, so keep an eye out for the structure among the traditional Cycladic architecture.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Pyrgos, head to the nearest bus stop located near the main square. Take the local bus heading towards Fira. The journey should take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Fira bus terminal. From there, you can either walk towards Windmill Megalochori, which is about a 20-minute walk, or you can take a taxi from the terminal for a quicker option. If walking, head northwest on Epar.Od. Fira - Akrotiri for approximately 1 kilometer, and follow the signs leading to Megalochori.
