Bus
From Rethymno, walk to the main bus station, located at 1 St. Andreas Street. Look for the buses heading toward Spili; they usually have signs indicating their destination. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Spili, get off at the main bus stop in the village. From the bus stop, walk south along the main road for about 5 minutes until you reach Agiou Charalampous street. The Folk Museum of Spili will be on your left.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Rethymno. Simply ask your hotel to call you a taxi or find one at a taxi stand. The ride to Spili will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Spili, ask the driver to drop you off at Agiou Charalampous street. The Folk Museum will be a short walk from there.

Walking
If you’re feeling adventurous and are up for a hike, you could walk from Rethymno to Spili. From the old town of Rethymno, head southeast towards the hills. Follow the signs that lead towards Spili; it’s about a 14 km trek that will take approximately 3-4 hours. The route is scenic, with beautiful views of the countryside. When you arrive in Spili, make your way to Agiou Charalampous street, and you’ll find the Folk Museum of Spili there.
