Car
From Pacaya Volcano, head southeast on the main road towards San Vicente Pacaya. Continue on this road for approximately 11 kilometers until you reach the junction with CA-9. Turn right onto CA-9 and continue for about 40 kilometers. Look for signs for Guanagazapa and Taxisco. After passing through Guanagazapa, keep an eye out for Kilómetro 87.5 on the right side where Auto Safari Chapin is located. The entrance is marked, and there is parking available.

To reach Auto Safari Chapin using public transportation from Pacaya Volcano, you can take a bus to Guatemala City first. From the main bus terminal in Pacaya, board a bus heading to Guatemala City. Once you arrive at the terminal in Guatemala City, transfer to a bus heading towards Taxisco or Santa Rosa. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Auto Safari Chapin; the stop will be at approximately Kilómetro 87.5 on the right. Be prepared to pay the bus fare, which typically ranges from Q25 to Q50 depending on the distance.
