Public Transport
From Tatabanya, take the train from Tatabanya train station to Budapest. Trains to Budapest typically depart every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest-Keleti Railway Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby M2 Metro line (red line). Board the metro towards Déli Pályaudvar and travel for 4 stops until you reach 'Kossuth Lajos Tér'. From there, transfer to tram line 4 or 6 at 'Kossuth Lajos Tér' stop and ride for 3 stops to 'Szent Gellért tér' stop, which is right next to the beautiful park and the Gellért Baths.

If you are already in Budapest, you can reach Szent Gellért tér by walking. Start from the Great Market Hall (Nagyvásárcsarnok), located at Fővám tér. Head southwest on Fővám tér towards Vámház körút. Continue onto Szabadság híd (Liberty Bridge) which crosses the Danube River. After crossing the bridge, you will arrive directly at Szent Gellért tér. It’s a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the river and the city.
