Car
If you are driving, head towards Þingvallavegur (Route 36) from any point within Þingvellir National Park. Follow the signs for Þingvallavatn lake and continue on Þingvallavegur. After approximately 5 minutes of driving, you will see Vinaskógur on your left side at the address Þingvallavegur, 806. Look for the sign that indicates Vinaskógur.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, first take a bus from the nearest bus stop in Þingvellir National Park to the nearest town, Selfoss. From Selfoss, you will need to catch a bus that goes towards Þingvellir National Park. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary. Once you arrive in Þingvellir National Park, you will need to walk along Þingvallavegur for about 30 minutes to reach Vinaskógur, which is located at Þingvallavegur, 806.
Walking
If you are already in Þingvellir National Park and prefer to walk, locate the main path leading towards Þingvallavatn lake. From there, head towards Þingvallavegur road. Walk along the road for about 20-30 minutes, keeping an eye out for the Vinaskógur sign on your left. It is a beautiful walk through the park, so enjoy the scenery along the way.
