Walking
Start from the center of Borgarnes, specifically near the Borgarnes bus station. Head southeast on Borgarbraut road towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading towards Mosfellsbær. Continue straight for approximately 30 km. Once you see the sign for Mosfellsbær, look for a bus stop; this is where you can catch a bus to Hvammsvík Hot Springs. After you board the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach Hvammsvík, as it's a well-known stop. Once you get off, follow the signs to the hot springs, which should be a short walk from the bus stop.

Public Transport
From Borgarnes, walk to the bus station and take the bus towards Reykjavik. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Mosfellsbær stop. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Hvammsvík Hot Springs. If you choose to walk, follow the main road south until you see signs for Hvammsvík. The walk will take approximately 20 minutes.

If you are renting a bike in Borgarnes, start at the Borgarnes harbor area. Ride southeast on the Borgarbraut road, heading towards the Route 1 (Ring Road) roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route 1. Continue riding for about 30 km towards Mosfellsbær. Once you spot the signs for Mosfellsbær, keep an eye out for the bus stop where you can take a break or ask for directions. The hot springs are located just a short distance from the bus stop, so follow the signs leading you there.
