If you're traveling by car from the center of Hveragerdi, head north on Route 1 (the Ring Road) toward Laugarvatn. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Laugarvatn. Continue on Route 37 for approximately 7 kilometers. Once you reach Laugarvatn, follow the signs to Laugarvatnshellir. The Cave People - Laugarvatnshellar is located at Laugarvatnshellir, 840 Laugarvatn. There is no entry fee, but parking may cost around 500 ISK.

To reach The Cave People - Laugarvatnshellar using public transportation, take a bus from Hveragerdi to Laugarvatn. Buses are operated by Strætó and may require a transfer in Selfoss.
