From the center of Kopavogur, head to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Kopavogur - Smáralind'. Take the bus number 5 towards 'Keflavik'. After approximately 15 minutes, you will need to change at 'Bústaðavegur'. There, transfer to bus number 17 towards 'Mosfellsbær'. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at 'Hvammsvík'. From the bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Hvammsvik Hot Springs.

If you prefer walking and are located in central Kopavogur, start at 'Kopavogur Town Hall', head towards the main road, 'Skarfagarður'. Walk straight on this road until you reach 'Bústaðavegur', which should take about 30 minutes. From there, you can catch the bus number 17 towards 'Mosfellsbær' and follow the earlier directions.
