If you are driving from Snæfellsbær, start by heading east on Route 54 towards the town of Borgarnes. After approximately 30 km, take the exit onto Hvalfjarðarvegur (Route 47) towards Hvalfjörður. Continue on Hvalfjarðarvegur for about 15 km. The Beached Whalers site will be on your left side, just past the Hvalfjörður tunnel entrance. There is parking available nearby.
