    If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto the Route 43 (Reykjanesbraut) from anywhere in the Southern Peninsula. Follow Route 43 toward Reykjanesbær. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit onto Route 41 (Reykjavik Road) and continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route 43 again. Continue for another 10 kilometers until you reach the Fagradalsfjall parking area, which is well-marked. The parking area is located at coordinates 63.8933° N, 22.2697° W. Please note that there may be a parking fee, typically around 1,000 ISK for a day's parking.
