If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Reykjavík to Skaftafell. Buses operated by companies such as Grey Line and Strætó run daily services to Skaftafell during the summer months. The fare for the bus from Reykjavík to Skaftafell is approximately 10,000 ISK one way.
