If you are in the Gold Coast neighborhood, start by heading north on North Clark Street. Continue walking for about 1 mile. You will pass through the beautiful Lincoln Park area, which is home to lush greenery and scenic views. Once you reach 1601 N Clark St, you will find the Chicago History Museum on your left.

You can take the #22 Clark bus from various stops in Gold Coast. Board the bus heading north. After a short ride of about 15 minutes, get off at the stop at North Clark St & North Armitage Ave. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk (about 0.2 miles) to the museum. Head north on Clark St and follow the directions to 1601 N Clark St.

If you prefer the train, you can walk to the nearest 'Brown Line' station at Sedgwick. Board the train heading north towards Kimball. After two stops, get off at the 'Armitage' station. Exit the station and walk east towards North Clark Street. From there, head north for about 0.3 miles to reach the Chicago History Museum at 1601 N Clark St.
